Can you feel yourself ovulating???

I am about 10 weeks post op....kept both ovaries....is it possible to be feeling myself ovulating at this early a stage? I have no idea what my cycle would be like at this point as I was bleeding for 4 months prior to my surgery. About 2 weeks ago I felt really tired and bloated (symptoms I had of PMS before). Today I am having a "pain" on my right side about where my ovary would be. It feels like what I associated with ovualtion prior to surgery. I guess that is the one drawback to no longer actually bleeding....I dont really know yet where in my "cycle" I am. When I was in my teens and twenty's I could have almost told you the exact hour it would start. The pain today kinda comes and goes and is more like a sharp throb. Interesting. Can anyone else who kept their ovaries feel ovualtion?

Can you feel yourself ovulating???

If you have one or both ovaries you can still get PMS symptoms.

I can usually tell when I am ovulating because I fill feel a slight "twinge" in the ovary area. I also still get PMS symptoms each month - slight headache, breast swelling & tenderness, and a bit of moodiness. However, I no longer have the excessive bleeding, cramps, and backaches I used to get with each period.

Can you feel yourself ovulating???

I no longer feel that little pinch when I ovulate.

However, my other symptoms like the ovulation discharge and a heightened sense of smell and clear skin are still there.

Of course I still get some slight breast tenderness and acne around my premenstrual time and then my miniperiod.

I do wonder if that pinch that I used to feel will return eventually. I don't miss it ... it's not like I need to be extra careful around ovulation time about birth control anymore!

Take care.

Can you feel yourself ovulating???

Hi,
It's been 3 weeks yesterday since my tvh.
I have always been able to tell when I ovulate becauase I get very bad pains in my side. At one time my husband thought I was having an appendix attack! This last week I started getting a really bad pain in my right side! I could hardley stand up without it hurting. Then the next day my boobs hurt and up popped my monthly pimple!! So yes, you can feel yourself ovulate or at least I can!!! everything is better now except I'm still having a slight pain in my right side! oh well I guess it's just part of healing.

Can you feel yourself ovulating???

I too have been curious about that (will I be able to feel ovulation? Have I ocvulated since my surgery?), SOMETIMES,but not always, I could feel ovulation before my surgery. But i always had other symtoms, especially tender breasts. If the doctor has you using Estrace cream would that affect your ovulating? He has me fill the applicator only to 1gm... is that a normal amount or just a tiny bit? It seems like my breasts start to get tender then it goes away... a few times now. Emotionally I have felt PMSy for weeks and I have a LOT of pinch feelings in my left side, ovary area. Maybe it's just grouchy 'cause I'm still not better? I can't tell...
