and today I feel ready

Today I feel like I'm ready. I have the house in order, food prep is done, meds and instructions all taken care of, the "what if" information my BF has, work is done and instructions on what needs to be done carefully typed out in detail, bowel prep (oh what fun) is as prepared as can be. Now what? OMG will I go even crazier waiting? It feels good to have everything in order but I just hope I don't drive myself and my family crazier with the waiting.

Do something fun! You'll be tired and achy after the surgery for a while so enjoy your last pre-surgery days and spoil yourself!

Waiting is really hard. I was still working on everything before I left for the hospital since I got so sidetracked and was cleaning things that I didn't need to do. I got a little carried away. If you feel like you are ready, I would spend the rest of your time doing things you enjoy that you won't be able to do right away after surgery. Go out for a few nice dinners with friends or family, whatever else you enjoy, do it now. I hope everything goes well for you. Waiting is very hard. Try not to worry about things too much. I did and really had no need to.
