Countdown till Tuesday!!

YAY!!!!!! Only a few more days until my TVH!!! I had my pre-op appt on Tuesday and got all my questions answered.

I found out that the doc feels there is only a 10% chance that I will need an incision vs vaginal/lapro assist. She said that she will yank and yank until it all comes out to try to avoid the incision. Come to find out my inlaws are only going to be here until 7/13 and that means I will only be 6 days post-op when I have to care for all 3 girls. My DH will be leaving on 7/15 for training out of state and I'm hoping that my mom will be able to come for a bit to help out (depending on how I'm feeling).

I was also told that at the 2 week mark I can use my treadmill on no incline at 2mph and resume normal exercise at 6 weeks.

the time will go by so quickly for you... I hope your mum can be there for you cause it's always great to have your mum.... I will be thinking of you...

I think that having your mom help out for a few days might be a good idea. At 6 days post-op having help with your girls is probably a good idea. You will probably having a lifting restriction ( mine was nothing over 5 pounds ) for awhile.

My surgery is Tuesday as well. I do want to get it over with, but I am a bit nervous. My kids are in college so no kids to really care for. My hubby and daughter will be taking care of me. Good luck!!

Hello! I'm 2 weeks post op and I suggest recruiting as much help as you can.
I wish you well! Before you know it you will be recovering. I remember how anxious I was. Waiting can be the hardest part. Good luck!
