I'm doing okay

The surgery went well. The doctor said it was quite a mess in there. Lots of adhesions. Even if I had opted to keep my one remaining ovary, he would have taken it out. I was only supposed to stay in the hospital one night, but I couldn't keep the pain meds down so the doctor changed the meds and I stayed an extra night. I've been up and around, but not overdoing it. I haven't really been hungry, but I'm eating a little here and there. Mostly, I'm really thirsty. My abdominal area isn't extrememely sore right now (just tender), but my shoulders and neck are still pretty sore (on my previous laps, neck/shoulder pain wasn't an issue). I haven't started HRT yet. I thought I was having a hot flash when I left the hospital to come home. I got in the car and couldn't stand it. Then my 3 year old daughter annonced that she was really hot, too! I knew she wasn't having a hot flash and just figured it was really hot in the car. My emotions are all over the place, but I remember that from my previous laps. Some of it is the pain meds, some just from the surgery itself and, in this case, probably some of it is from my decreasing hormone levels. So, that's where I'm at right now. Time for my meds and a nice nap
