Holy Weight Loss Batman!

I feel the same..holy weight loss batman. I'm not sure what is happening to us women after surgery, but if weight loss is a side effect....i will take it, so i will have at least something "not so sad" to think about.

Oh, in my dreams to have lost 40#....
I lost about 7 then gained 5, lost another 2, then 2 days later was up 5# again. My appetite has been minimal, so I am guessing it is fluid and 'swelly belly'. I really expected to have lost at least 10 #.

I am 2 days post surgery. I weigh the exact same as I did the day of surgery. Haven't really eaten anything is a few days, but haven't lost a single pound. So frustrating.

I think this is the time to take care of ourselves and eat healthy, the weight loss will come with the right food choices and attitude. XO

I had lavh feb 25th...was 120 and struggled too loose weight and now I'm down to 106 and my lowest was 105 since surgery. I had my thyroid and hormones checked thinking something was wrong but doc can't find anything wrong. So...its really weird

I had my surgery last Monday and had no problem with food. I lost six pounds since surgery. Very happy!

All I can say is all you guys are blessed and keep on smiling!! I am 3 months recovery and my body has changed so much and I have GAINED 15lbs. I do watch what I eat and run 12 miles a week.

nice wtg can you pass that on to me I would love to lose weight.

I've lost 15 lbs since surgery and find my appetite changed after. I used to eat anything and everything, and now find I just can't eat like I used to. I'm not starving, hence the slow loss but just eat less. As long as you're eating regularly, enjoy the loss. I'm hoping by the time my surgical anniversary comes I'll be down the 35 lbs I needed to be.

I have not lost any weight at all. In fact, I have gained weight. But, at least my lower abdomen doesn't feel bloated and is pain free. I can work on the weight when I go back to work next week.
