Everyone Celebrate!!!

I just pooped my first post op pooper!!! I about killed myself laughing that text message to my DH who is out running errands for me! Now I know why it is worth celebrating! It took me 5 days, for sure, but the best part of it is I LOST 1.6 POUNDS! So, I had gained a few pounds with the IV fluids from the castle stay.... and now I am half way to my pre op weight, which to me was about 8 pounds heavy!
My DH just got home and the first thing asked, "did you tell the sisters yet the good news?" and starts singing around the house, "celebrate celebrate! My wife took a pooie!" to that old song Celebrrate!!! It hurts to laugh, but I wanted to post this so all can see and get a good chuckle out of this! Where else will perfect strangers celebrate someone they don't even know pooping??? only here with the H-Sisters!
Have a great day, to those of you in waiting, all the luck and best of care and to a great big early poop to start you losing that weight those fibroids helped to hold on to!

Everyone Celebrate!!!

Congratulations!

I can so relate....when I finally had my bm yesterday morning, I immedately called my husband at work and shared the news. He was giving me attagirls over the phone and say how proud he was of me...I was cracking up over how excited we got.

I too noticed about an 8 lb increase after surgery and now I'm down 5 of that.
