What Does Adnexa Mean???

I am so sorry to be so clueless! I FINALLY, got my pathology report from my doctor! ONLY took over a month to the **** thing. I don't understand what this portion means!! here is what it says....

Evidence of endometriosis in the right Adnexa???????? What is a Adnexa????

another word for ovaries, fallopian tubes.

Thank you so much Now here is another question??? I wonder why they didn't take my ovary??? No wonder I still have pain there! What are the chances of this spreading or already have spread to near by Organs??? Should I be concerned and what should I look for too???

P.S. CORRECTION HERE, IT WAS NOT THE PATHOLOGY REPORT! IT WAS THE SURGERY REPORT.....
