I made it thru, now is that gas pain or surgery pain?

I had LAVH Monday morning. I am home now wondering if that pain I feel is gas pains or pain from the surgery. If its gas pains, I don't really need percoset? not a big fan of pain meds, but if I need them..

Thoughts?

What are you experiencing and what type of surgery did you have?

It may be both but for me the gas pain made all the other pain so much worse. If you can try to go without the Percocet that's what I would recommend or try get a different medication. I had my doc switch me to norco due to the gas pain and hallucinations I was experiencing.

Gee, those gas pains are sent by the devil. Have you tried walking around a little more, just gentle strolling, that can help no end.

No pain meds today yet. I am experiencing a little diarrhea though so that might be the crampy feeling i was having. Trying to walk around some seems to help. Heatng pad on my belly too.

Wow good for you. Are you taking any advil?

I dont remember that being recommended i will look at my papers again. I usually stay away from advil due to hypertension. Maybe some tylenol would be ok?
