discharge two weeks after hysterectomy surgery, is this normal?

Has anyone experienced a brownish discharge during week 2 of recovery? I noticed it happens more when I try to move around more. Just wondering if this is normal.

Some discharge or bleeding is normal. Sometimes it's a sign that we may need to slow down a little. If the blood is red or you are soaking a pad an hour then you need to be seen. I would try resting some and see if the discharge slows down or stops. If not then I would give the doctor a call

I'm 3 1/2 weeks out now. I have the same thing. Very light pink to brown discharge occasionally when I wipe.

I have it more after a bowel movement it seems. I'm not concerned as I have read this is normal for several weeks. I see my doc on Friday. I'm hoping to get released for work .

I'm 3 1/2 weeks and this has just started with me as well. Today ive startes having a very pale brown discharge when I wipe, again more so after a BM. Only concerned as I am leaving the country tomorrow. From what I've read this is normal at this stage. Hope so

I'm 4 weeks out tomorrow and noticed some spotting this morning. I don't have pain, but it's a bit alarming since I've had nothing since the first week. I don't feel I've overdone it, but who knows?

Sometime we get a brown discharge (old blood) as the stitches dissolve and the cuff is healing. I had discharge that varied between brown, pink, and small amount of bright red. I never needed a pantyliner, it was just there when I wiped. I had my vaginal cuff checked several times before being cleared at 8 weeks and all was normal for me, not even any granulation tissue.
