8 weeks post hysterectomy - exhaustion

Monday, I will be 8 weeks out from surgery. Had blood work at GP office a week ago to check iron levels but didn't hear from them so my blood work must be fine.
Having dizzy spells, headaches, high blood pressure, pounding heart just walking from room to room at times n total exhaustion.
I'm definately not drinking enough water.
Feel like I'm having heart issues! I'm scared!!!!

Make sure to get your hormone levels checked, and make sure to get your thyroid checked. Did they just check iron? Since it could be anything, get all your electrolytes checked out and also your blood proteins and just get a very thorough check of all blood levels since that can tell you a lot.
Also get an EKG done to be sure of any heart issue, just in case.
Your system might just still be recovering from everything.
If your doctor doesn't want to do those tests, get to another doctor to get a very thorough check done. It can tell you what is going on.

The dizzy spells, headaches, high BP, heart pounding and total exhaustion are not in the norm. A lot of what you described are the symptoms I have when I start getting anemic. Please, pretty please, go and have this checked right away. This is your health. Your most important task right now is to take care of you.

Hi, we belong to the se post surgery thread. I have had the same kind of anxiety. All my blood work always is called normal ,too. I had a serious vertigo attack 4 days past surgery, with dizziness and other symptoms still ongoing. After doing some more reading I have now added some, folic acid, calcium and vitamin D and B vitamins. Together with lots of liquids I am beginning to feel better. I think the internal healing needs more than just average levels. Even though I feel hungry all the time and keep a good balance in my food choices, I do not think I can not take in enough nutrition. They told me in the hospital that anxiety and a feeling of doom often accompanies vertigo in all its forms. My blood pressure also kept fluctuating. If you are really scared please call a health nurse or your doctor's office, because otherwise it turns into a vicious circle.
