My crotch smells like bleach

Hi Ladies,
I'm not sure where to post this...but I'm sure a hostess will find a suitable spot for this.
Since my total abdominal hysterectomy (I'm not exactly sure when), I've noticed that my crotch smells like bleach. It's not a terribly strong odor, but I can notice it when I'm toileting, changing clothes, etc. I wear cotton underwear and do not use bleach in my laundry.
I do not think it is hormonal, as I have kept my ovaries, and based on my last lab results from January, they seem to be functioning well. I have also recently had vaginal swabs done, and there was no infection, including yeast.
Has anyone else noticed this, or does anyone have any ideas what the cause is, or if it is cause for concern?

Are you sure the odour you are smelling is not that of urine, from a "leaky bladder"......for the 1 st few weeks after my surgery my bladder was weak and would "drip" causing a strong odour , like that of amonia.....I have been doing kegal excersices and have noticed a huge improvement....

Although the odor may be urine, I don't think so. I drink A LOT of fluids and my urine is very dilluted, often without any odor to it at all. Also, my underwear are dry, and I don't seem to have any discharge or leaking...

Well, I have noticed this too.
I don't know if it is a change is sweat, -- but I do think it is from a bit of leaking. sometimes i can feel I've lost a few drops ..... most of the time I notice it after the gym, though I don't "feel" any leaking when I'm at the gym.

I've just done a whole round of urodynamic testing and basically they say there is nothing wrong with me.... however, I do know I'm leaking a bit, once in a while -- I guess my "problem" isn't that serious...(hope it stays that way).

I know there is a tampon test for fistulas, where you put a treated tampon in the vagina and it changes colour if there is a vaginal fistula. I wonder if there is a kind of panty liner like that to check for drips???
