Me too!! My surgery is scheduled for 1/29. I've had it since last Sunday. I have been drinking so much fluid... Thougth things were better last night, but today it was back. Not much we can do but rest and drink lots. I have also been taking Emergen-C. Crossing my fingers for both of us d

Do NOT take any OTC meds, including vitamins, without your doctors approval. This is VERY IMPORTANT!

Call you doctor and ask what you can take.... They may even be able to give you something.

I called the doc. She told me I could take Tylenol Sinus... She also said thea Emergen C is ok. Throat still sore, I think post nasal drip only. I have only taken the Emergen C. Tylenol doesnt help me. I have had no fever,cough or sneezing. Just hoping that I can kick this over the weekend. I will speak to the doc agan on Monday. This is so annoying!

I'm hopin too!!! I spoke to my doc too. so far so good. we'll see.

I saw the doc yesterday. She tells me I have a cold. She said that colds have been lasting about nine days. She told me to stay in bed and drink fluids like this is some amazing new treatment! She wouldn't prescribe antibiotics.

This is so frustrating! I have worked so hard to get decent subs for my classes, and written 6 weeks of sub plans, and I am supposed to send a letter to parents Monday morning,but I am not sure that I will be going! I dont want to reschedule if at all possible, so I will see how I feel Monday morning and go from there.

I would laugh if this was any other situation! The sore throat is gone:-) Tke post nasal drip has dried up. Now I have a headache...could be from the cold or hormonal. I woke up with my period today! Not sure if it is a sinus headache or not. I will be calling the surgeon tomorrow to determine if my surgery will happen on Tuesday. ARGHH...If it were up to me, I would go on as scheduled. I dont want to go through the past week again.
