Apology for lack of nettiquette

Dear Hyster Sisters,
Unfortunately, like most things I did not read the nettiquette post until I have been posting for several weeks. I am guilty of talking back and forth on a thread. I am sorry if I made anyone feel left out or made them not post because of it. I will be more careful in the future. I also didn't know that all caps is considered shouting and I apologize for shouting when I meant to emphasize.I also apologize for my typing. I hope all the sisters are as well as can be and thank you all for your support,
Cleomarg

Apology for lack of nettiquette

I, for one, totally forgive you. My first post was full of no-no's, such as mentioning doctor's names and websites. I didn't think of it til driving home after work and I panicked!! I didn't want to be kicked off, so I tried to "turn myself in". Live and learn.

I'm fairly new here, so wondering what's up? Do you get some sort of message if you do something offensive or not acceptable? I too use all caps sometimes to emphasize, not to shout. Help me out here so I don't make a boo boo. Thanks!

PS You are forgiven...just hope that I am not doing anything wrong!

I forgive you too!!! Now I'm afraid I've been doing things wrong too!! I tend to use capitals to express myself also---oops!!!!
How will I know if I've done something against the rules?! I admit, I read the guidelines, but mainly I was so excited to get into this website & join & chat etcc.... that I may have not paid very close attention!!! :confuse: zanylynn

Not a problem. A lot of people make boo boos when they first start. In fact, I've been here over three years and still occassionally do something that's considered a nettiquette faux pas. We're human, mistakes happen.

We're just glad you're here.

We're a friendly bunch! It's understandable that you want to jump right in on the message boards and start meeting your Sisters.

It is helpful to review the FYI thread which mentions nettiquette. You can click this link to read them.

Also, the Guidelines are good to review from time to time. The link to Guidelines is near the top of the page, or just click here.

Enjoy the site! We're glad you are here!!

Marg,
let's just thank God there are no netiquette police because we would all be hauled in at one time or another! I have yet to run across anyone violating netiquette to the point that I thought they were offensive.

Thank heavens poor typing isn't an offense or I would be denied membership to boards all across the net!

You're good to go, girlfriend!

I've done it too. Didn't know what nettiquette was until now. I'll try not to do it anymore.
