LAVH vs. TAH

Thanks for all the info! I had my pre-op today and was told that they would insert the scope into my bellybutton in order to have a look-see. Once they have looked around and examined all my organs, they will make the determination to go TVH or TAH. The surgeon told me that it won't actually be TAVH since they will not be doing any cutting or repairs via the bellybutton incision. I am scared, happy, nervous, freaked out and excited all at the same time. I am hoping for an uneventful surgery with no complications! 8 more days and counting
