Hemerriods ?

Is it common to get hemmeriods after hysterectomy? I have 2 and one is huge and very uncomfortable. I haven't been pushing at all...I couldn't push even if I wanted to so I'm not sure why I have them.

Re: Hemerriods ?

I feel you!! I have one, right off the surg table! I've never dealt with it before. I called dr, they gave me med, but not helping at all. I can only sit on one side as it hurts so bad. I hope you find some relief. I did find little relief with Prep H Cooling Gel.

Re: Hemerriods ?

I was bleeding with hems so bad after I got home the doc had to come out and see me.the morphine and meds I had been on since before I went to the castle had made me extremely constipated high up in my bowel which they noticed during my op.lots of stool softeners and no straining sorted it although I deal with hems daily.the pain from them after my op was 10 times worse than any post op pain.you have my sympathy!

Re: Hemerriods ?

I was worried about this happening too. So I've been drinking aloe Vera juice each morning to help.

Re: Hemerriods ?

I have the same problem , to the point I could not sit or lay on my back , it was excruciating. Hemerroid pain worse than any surgery pain. The thing that helped me the most was prep H suppositories. I finally got relief after using them.

Good luck ladies

Re: Hemerriods ?

For some reason you can't get them in england any more.I used to find them the best as well.once you can have a bath just sitting in some warm water is very soothing
