Leaving for the castle in 2 hours!!!

.....and I am soooo nervous it is not even funny! I did my bowl prep last night and this morning and I think if I had to have anythine else cleaned out I would see my stomach come out! LOL!

My mom and I were talking and we think that I am still in the stage of denial which is making this trip to the castle especially hard! I wanted to be passed denial but I guess I am just not ready to accept it! Once I wake up I will have to accept it so that might be when I move on to anger!! LOL

Anyways, please pray for my husband because he is not being as supportive as he was when we had our children. He got a couple of days off for the days I am in the hospital but feels like he needs to do nothing else! He refused to help me do the enema, when he has helped me before with my kidney stone surgery, ablation and bladder surgery! It is very hard to give yourself an enema when you have never done it before and also when you are in pain bending over! I dont know what is up, and I dont want to go into surgery with him holding something against me!

So there is my pre op state of mind! WORRIED! LOL So thank you for the prayers! Much love and hugs!

Leaving for the castle in 2 hours!!!

((( Shauna ))) my thoughts and prayers will be with you. I hope that all goes well for your surgery and recovery.

Maybe your DH is reacting that way out of concern or fear? Mine does that sometimes too - his way of denial, I guess. I hope that he will step up and give you the support & help that you need

Hi Shauna;

by this time you might be coming out from surgery, praying that all went smooth and you are pain free

husbands tend to react very different when they are worried or simply scared....give him time, he will come around.
keeping you in prayers, and I will see you soon on the post op side
