Blood Clots
I have multiple fibroids and just finished my heaviest period ever this week. I've noticed more frequent and ever larger blood clots . Does this indicate endometriosis or adenomyosis or could it just be fibroids or the result of missing a BCP in this cycle?
Also with clots, is there any chance of these moving around the body or are they safely contained in the uterus?

Re: Blood Clots
I had awful bleeding and clots too before I had my fibroids removed, but no endometriosis etc. As far as I know the clots are expelled during your period and there shouldn't be any danger of them moving anywhere else. I had terrible anaemia before my op., my iron level was dangerously low - hope they're checking you for this! Are you going to have surgery? Your quality of life if you are bleeding so much must be suffering, if my own experience is anything to go by!
Sending you lots of good vibes,
Christina

Re: Blood Clots
Hi Chritina,
Thanks for reply, I've just finished a month's worth of iron tablets prescribed for anaemia. I think all the extra iron that went in has almost certainly been lost again. I have an apt with Dr in 3 weeks and think we may discuss surgery but nothing booked yet.
