Hello Ladies! I have been reading this site for several weeks now and have just now posted a new thread. I had my supercervical on March 20. Long story but I had a tubal ligation and ablation Sept. 27, 2006. Started having pelvic pain Jan. 2007. My doctor will let me know for sure if it was adenomyosis for sure this week. I have noticed that I have been leaking urine a little the past few days. Thank goodness, no other major problems. I am 41 years old and feeling better every day. Hang in there ladies! This support system is awesome! Thank you

Just wanted to say welcome to the site. I think you should call the dr about the leaking urine. So glad you feeling good besides that and wishing you a speedy recovery.

Hi (((Circle)))

Welcome to Hystersisters! I'm glad you decided to come join us. Sounds like you're doing well. Is the leaking stress related, like when you cough or sneeze or is it just leaking without any cause that you can see? It isn't unusual to have a little bit of a problem with stress incontinence after surgery. It usually involves strengthening the pelvic floor muscles.
I agree you should call and let your dr know so you can find out what's causing it in your case. Then you can better know what you need to do to fix it. I hope you continue to do well. Let us know what you find out from your dr.
's, Rita

Rita, thanks for the reply! I have noticed that urine leaks a little just whenever. I will call my doctor. I was so nervous getting this hysterectomy but it is over now. Now my hubby gets to do all the laundry!

Hi Molly
Hope your feeling a bit better. I do the washing myself and my sister/mum does the ironning. I load the dishwasher and the kids empty it for me. The y make their own beds and bring down their washing......3 lads, 16,14 and 11.
I do the cooking with the big lads help and the middle 1 takes out the rubbish. My sister comes over and brushes and washes the floor, brings in the shopping and generally tidies up....a couple times a week. ( Hubby works away alot)

Im really very lucky though found it really difficult to ask for help as ive always been independent. Its at times like this that you rely on your family. My youngest son is taking me for a walk along the path tomorrow. He says i have to get my 'old legs moving' lol.

Take care
Lorraine
