LAVH/BSO scheduled yay!!!

Hi all I posted on introduce yourself before my dr appt on Wed. And My Dr. agreed to the hyst. He said that there were only 2 options left another lap or hyst. I refuse to do another lap and only get releif for a month or two so he gave the go ahead. It is scheduled for 7:10 Febuary 27th. I am very happy but now that it is officially scheduled I am kind of nervous. It may sound wierd but i was hoping for tah because I have this weird fear of stitches in my vag. But realistically I know it is usually less painful and a shorter recovery. Also I was expecting hormone therapy but because of the endo the doc thinks thats a bad idea. so..... He is also gonna keep me in hospital 3 to 4 days (I think it is because I have 3 small children ages 5,3,2) and he doesnt want me doing too much. I wanted to know if there is one list of things to take to hosp. I know there is a thread in pre op but I wanted one list. hmmm oh well . thank you all for posting your hyst stories It has really helped me with the dealing with my fear of the vaginal stitches/scar reading your stories.
