5 weeks post op pain and fever
Hi, I am 5 weeks post op, did great the first 2 weeks then started having more pain (than usual) where I had surgery and running fever 101, went to my doctor and my WBC was up due to infection so I started antibiotics. The pain went away and my fever broke for about 4 days. I have since then been running a slight fever 99.6-100 daily but not having any pain so I have chalked it up to a stuffy nose that I have. Now I am having intermittient pain in my right ovary which gets worse when I cough. Does this sound like an ovarian cyst or should I make yet another triip back to my dr? Has anyone else had this type of pain in their ovaries after hysterectomy? Thanks for any input!

Re: 5 weeks post op pain and fever
I never personally had this happen but I would advise that you call your Dr. and let them know. You're infection may not have cleared but all the way and if not you may want to get it checked out. The pain on your side my be an ovary but it may also be something else internally that your pulling with the cough. Coughing tends to be very hard on the stomach muscles. Give them a call and see what they suggest. Good luck and feel better soon.
