2 wks post op- scared of accidental "O" help!!
Hi sisters!
I've been SO hormonal and, uh, ***** like a teenager - or worse. Just giving my hubby a kiss today got me "close". I felt a little bit of tugging/pinching discomfort but nothing really bad. I was SO glad to know I could still lubricate! But now I'm cranky,I have a headache & I'm scared or having an orgasm at this point. My Dr. gave me NO post op instructions & can't be reached... We plan on trying intimacy at 8 wks but what if I orgasm by accident or in my sleep?!. Does it sound silly? Have you ladies experienced any of this? Help!
Jess

I am the same way. I was very excited that I was able to lubricate too. We haven't tried anything for fear of doing damage to my internal stitches. I haven't asked my doctor, but I will email to find out.

I had my surgery on 12-12 and felt frisky right away too! At my two week check up I was cleared for trying out orgasms and I did and do far more often than pre-surgery! For me they are more intense than before also. Cannot wait to have sex!!

Re: 2 wks post op- scared of accidental "O" help!!
I also had an orgasm at 2 weeks postop, 3 weeks too. Wednesday will be 4 weeks and Im sure I will have another one. My libido was so high that I almost had no control of the 'Os' . My muscles were contracting and I would become heated with no inducing of either. I would only be in bed trying to sleep. These 'Os'are something incredible. I thought I would miss the contractions from the big football sized uterus, but the these orgasms are more intense and definitely a 'touchdown' . Hoping sex, 2 more weeks, will be a 'homerun' . The crazy thing is, I had a small infection that Er doctor perscribed 30 antibiotics in five days. Of course after that, a yeast infection came. Not yo mention Im still packing the small hole in my incision. Now who would think libido would even show his face during those type of issues. Ps. I am aware that orgasms at an early stage, could possibly affect internal healing muscles, but have not found any studies on the impact of it being as harsh as actually having sex before being cleared to do so.
Superb healing and recovery success to everyone!

2.5 weeks and doc approved external stimulation and orgasm. I've had 2 with no pain. No penetration for 8wks; but if I can O, that makes it easier to handle.

I understand, I was there, and it just about drove me crazy. It started day two post op for me. I acquired the greatest sympathy for the teenage boy going through puberty, although he probably had nothing on me You have no control over the accidental ones but check with your doctor. Some doctors require complete pelvic rest. He will best be able to tell you what's best for you.
Here's an article that may explain your Libido Surge

Re: 2 wks post op- scared of accidental "O" help!!
I get aroused just watching a steamy love scene! This is all new to me too I feel like I'm going through a new surge of libido. I'm scared to have an O so I have tried not to but after having an erotic dream with almost O and waking up, I was cramping a little. My dr didn't say anything about Os or external-just no internal so I'm trying to be safe esp since I cramped. It went away quickly after I tried to change positions in bed and distract myself with something else. I didn't spot.
I am so excited for the green light! My sex life has always been good but lately I feel like it's a race car engine revving up at the start line and the minute the dr waves that green flag I'm going to pounce on my fiancée!

2 wks post op- scared of accidental "O" help!!
UPDATE: a few hours after writing this post I just went ahead and did it ( I took ibuprofen first though) and it was GREAT! Intense in a different way. (I know everyone says that). Nothing hurt, no spams or spotting and for the 1st time in 15 days I got a full night's sleep! You guys have been great at sharing. Keep it coming!! I still get all these "flare ups" & I feel like a freak!
