Pain where ovaries were. IBS?? 20 weeks post op

I had a tlh/oopherectomy on june 17th. Ive been having so many problems., Im tired. im frustrated. im done done done!
i had a lot of problems with bowel movements after surgery. Ive had alot of periniu pain and vaginal cuff pain. Ive had alot of back issues and hip pain/burning issues. Ive been to the doc non stop since my surgery. Ive lost 30 pounds since my TLH. Now for the past month and a half ive been having pain in my ovaries. I was sent to pain clinc he says it might be endo and scar tissue. One obgyn wants to me to stop my HRT bc she says there might be endo left but shes not sure so why not try. I cant handle it. i cant handle the hot flashes and night sweats and foggy mind and loss of sleep. I cant handle it all. Im only 27. I had a ct scan on tuesday to see what could be causing the pain. And now someone says they went throught the same pain with ibs. IM SO CONFUSED AND LOST AND ANGRY AND MAD AND honkerblonkED OFF AND UPSET AND FRUSTATED. I feel hopeless. Has anyone had problesm with ibs and it caused pain in ur ovaries or where they were at. Its the same pain i had before my TLH and sometimes worse. Anyone hd this problem. Please i could use any any any feedback. Im at my witts end here

Thank you
Mandie

Re: Pain where ovaries were. IBS?? 20 weeks post op

Fathom6.... I was diagnosed with ibs and sudden lactose intolerance back in Jan 11...Treated by the gastro after colonoscopy, but things just kept getting worse. Gastro kept ordering tests to help find out why my whole abdomen, pelvis and rectum hurt. Anal fissure treated as well, then scans/mri showed 3 cm cyst posterior of vagina...gastro suggested gyn referral. First Gyn very arrogant, not wanting to do anything for a year..."every woman has cysts, and your biggest is only 3 cm!" Second opinion gyn did lap Sept 6 found endo everywhere, hernia, unable to reach cyst and said my bowels were "a mess". Hysterectomy 2 weeks later. Now I'm 5 weeks post, feeling much, much better however left side where ovary "lived" is still like there is a constant "stitch". Gyn said yesterday in follow up that I still had ibs, he didn't fix that, and that was probably what the pain is. I feel it is not as bad and hope that more healing will calm things inside there down even more. I'm so sorry you are having a tough time. Hope things brighten up for you soon!

I just don't understand how to deal with the I.b.s if that's what the pain is from. I changed my eating habits when I found out I had the Endo. I haven't noticed any patterns or anything. Im so confused. I see another gyn next Wednesday so hopefully she can help me out with some answers. Thank u ladies for ur help!
