TVH July 2 Vaginal Hysterectomy

Well, other than a little pain (not too bad because I had a spinal along with general do to some bladder work and botox into my dysfunctional pelvic muscles), my two biggest complaints were excessive bleeding and hicculs that won't leave me alone. I didn't sleep at all last night. Today my blood pressure fell and scared a few people 73/44. Now the spinal wore off and I am off my morphine pump. Mostly lower back pain and those stupid hiccups. Doc said preliminary path report show adenomylosis. Cervcal pathology will take longer. That makes me a little worried. I was up walking around a couple of times. Not too bad. Rested for about an hour. Now I am failing miserably at my pee test. I keep getting scanned and they keep saying I might have to go home with a foley. Nooooooo! Well that's it for me today. Hopefully I will get to go home soon!!! Without a Foley

Welcome to the other side! And with peeing so you don't need a catheter. Try not to worry about your cervical pathology, most of us don't get those results until at least 2 weeks post op. I got my pathology results at my 6 week follow up. Rest and remember to:
