Home from the Castle... but not sure for how long...

Hi everyone. I got home this morning. Spent 5 days and nights in. everything went well. To my surprise they also removed the most uglyiest appendix theyve seen in someone who didnt appear to have problems.

Its all sent off to pathology and well see what happens. Problem is now that im have a "slight" fever and some chills, im keeping a close eye on it, but I have this little voice telling me theres more to it.... My sisster says im just being paranoid. we'll see.

Off to go and rest.

I am happy to hear everything went well. What was wrong with your appendix? I hope you get to feeling better. Always remember God is with you no matter what. Take care.

it was just a really odd shape and color for what it was suppose to be along with it was flipped back over on itself and adheared. It was much bigger than it was suppose to be.

Hope you are okay, you seemed worried about a fever. I hope it turns out to be nothing! Glad your surgery went well

Just remember you know your body best. You just got back from major surgery. Better to be safe than sorry. Contact your Dr with your concerns.

I woke up this morning feeling fine and no fever. I think I was just tired. Also the slight fever could still be from the UTI I got in the hospital.

Im healing well so far. I do my best when my tylenol and advil are working to their fullest, of corse. Im just amazed at how FULL I feel, I would have thaught with 2 organs out and a large cyst on my ovary removed I would be less conjested. Im sure that its just swelling etc for now...i guess its just that swelly belly ive been reading about.
