TAH: 5 days till surgery. Is it safe?

My dr and a specialist from Portland r going to be doing my surgery. They will be putting ureter stents b4 surgery. I have endom with fibroid pushing on my bladder. Should I b worried? Or is this pretty safe?

I had a bladder lift and urethra lift when they did my histerectomy. If your dr. is a specialist you are lucky I'm sure your dr. has done this surgery many, many times. There are always risks when it comes to surgery and I think we all know that.
I did have some complications was unable to pee on my own for over a month. That is a rist that I was told about I did have to go in for another surgery two weeks later to fix this but I'm told this is very very rare. I handled what I was delt and everything is great now. Hope you have no complications but if you do I'm sure you will be able to handle it. Remember these complications are very rare but its good to know they exist. Good luck on the 27th!
