Constantly Sick????

Hello All!

My surgery date is scheduled for 10/8 and I am so ready! But, I feel like I am constantly getting sick now - maybe have a weak immune system from the endometriosis and swelly belly. I'm afraid I'll have to reschedule if I can't keep myself well.

Anyone else have similar problems?

Thanks for reading and good luck to all the princesses to be out there!

Constantly Sick????

Hi there,

Yes, I am having surgery 10/04 and never get sick! But now I am fighting colds left and right. Sick stomach, etc. It has to be stress? Worrying? But not realizing you are? I am frantic to get well before surgery. Taking vitamins, lots of fluids. Cannot believe this is happening when I am NEVER Sick. Hang in there. Drink fluids, rest, wash your hands (ALOT). We'll get through this just fine

Constantly Sick????

I think everyone feels like they are getting sick beforehand. I felt like I was catching a cold 7 days before my surgery. But, convinced myself I was making the whole thing up. Then did get a little of a cold. I believe your immune system goes way down, due to the fact that you're probably not sleeping well at night. I know I didn't.

Constantly Sick????

I was also sick all the time. The day I went for my pre-op I had a 100 degree fever and came right home and went to bed. I did have endo very bad, and have been sick off and on for the last few years(colds, flu's, sinus infections, etc.) My doc said the endo makes your immune system weaker and I guess that was why i kept getting sick, since I had my surgery I haven't had one cold or fever so maybe the endo did have something to do with it.
