Wow! I can't believe it is nearly here. I'm not too nervous because I have so much to do still, but I imagine that could change anytime.

Wishing good luck to everyone! I am trying to keep busy so as not to be too nervous!! Packed my overnight bag for the hospital today.

Thanks to everyone involved in any way on this site. I've learned a great deal. This is certainly one of the many beautiful advantages to the internet, and we're lucky to be living in such a time. The pain that is always with me is my reinforcement to put one foot in front of the other. I'm also keeping as busy as possible, listening to positive cd's, doing some praying and meditating and trying to keep the calm peace of my soul in the forefront. It is a minute by minute challenge The best of luck to everyone going this week, and I'll "see" you all on the other side of this surgery. Looking forward to a beautiful spring and summer.

Ladies, you all are going to do amazingly! Just keep in mind the healing pain means GOOD things are happening and soon, it will be a memory. Can you beleive you are a few hours away from saying bye to these issues you've had for how long now?

Take a few deep breaths, let them out and smile. Don't let any nervousness plague you at all; trust me when I say I had tons before surgery and looking back, it's cake. It's cake because we KNOW what good is coming up FROM doing all this.

Remember to get up and go to the bathroom soon as you can, and walk when you can. Even a few little steps do help, believe it or not. If you get gas pains, walk. It may hurt to get up, it may not, but after a few steps, the gas pain should diminish FAST.

Take the time you need to heal, read the posts on here which are positive, and know that you're taking a hurdle that is making you have an amazing beautiful life after you get over it.

God bless all of my 'sisters' going in on the 16th. I'll be thinking of and praying for all of you. So nervous. My first major surgery. I'm used to being on the go all the time. Can't imagine being laid up for 4-5 weeks. Praying that everyone's surgery goes well and that we all have a quick and speedy recovery. Thank you for all the support. I've learned a lot on this site. Hello Sisters!!

I remember the overwhelming feelings I had when I finally saw my name on THE LIST!!
I really tried to concentrate on being calm and visualizing the doctor coming in and telling me that everything went great.
I tried to imagine my family and friends telling me how proud they were that I was so strong. (although strangely my husband looked just like Brad Pitt!)
I thought of all the improvements in my future life.

I have the honor of being your Sunshine Sister. I will try to help you in any way I can...even if its just to send you a cyber hug. We will be joined by a wonderful hostess Danni3113. You will never be alone here...

Yes, thank you! I've slowed down enough today that I'm getting nervous. I will be busy all day tomorrow so hopefully there won't be a lot of time for nerves.
