Think I felt vaginal cuff stiches!!!!

Ladies, this is very nerve wrecking...let me explain...I went for my 8week post op yesterday. Dr did an internal exam and found some stiches Not dissolving...but healed..she put some silver nitrate and used the long q-tip thinging and did the exam..it hurt and I have been cramping!!! I was allowed to start baths and was excited...I did and I noticed some discharge, so as I was sitting in my tub, I cleaned inside my vajayjay (sorry too much info) and I FELT THE STICHES and it scared the S@#! out of me!!!! I was soo nervous and I believe the soap made my insides sting!!!!!! Needless to say I got out QUICK....and took a Vicoden...I felt more cramping, stinging plus nervousness...I bawled just thinking about how the needle and thread were in there and how my sister and older son have not been supported during this milestone in my life..".how dare they do that to me" sorta feeling...it hit home mentally I guess how delicate this surgery has been...I couldn't understand my emotions...I got my hair colored, highlighted, cut, plus had my nails done And a pedicure..looking great on the outside and got so many great compliments and here I was crying!!!

Re: Think I felt vaginal cuff stiches!!!!

Hi egmijares,

I know how you feel. I am 1 week post-op and I can feel where the DR stitched me up inside the vajayjay without touching anything. I cannot feel the stitches it's self but I can feel the pain of it and the "I know something was down there" feeling. I know the surgery was needed but I will be glad when all the feeling stuff down there is quiet. I don't want to feel the effects of the surgery any more. I want to feel normal and pain free. Our surgeries are major things to deal with and I know feeling that you are not alone helps some. I'm here! You are not alone!
(((((((BIG HUGS to you)))))))))
