Tests Normal Yahoo

I got the results of the CA 125 (cancer test) and it's normal, and the thyroid was as well.


Well what I was told by the nurse is that there are no cancer cells in my blood. However, in the same breathe in a round about way she said that it could be confined to my uterus if there are any. She continued to tell me the Dr will go over all of the results on Monday 19th when I come in to see him one last time before he does the surgery. He wants to do another pelvic exam on me. (has anyone ever had to have one last exam?)
12 more days to go, and it's 1:55pm and I am still on this site. Seems like I need to get myself really tired before I go to bed or I lay there just thinking about the surgery. And the swelly belly is preventing me from sleeping on my belly. So i toss from side to side for some time.

Thinking of you sisters who are scheduled for monday 12th, and praying for your fast recovery.

Congratulations on the good test results! That must have made you feel good. I know what you mean about just laying in bed and thinking. I used to wake up real early in the morning thinking about it.

I didn't have to see my dr prior to my surgery. From what I've read here many do have pre-op appointments with their dr.
