What are friend for!!!??????

My goal is to run a 5K race in 2 years, and I know without having this surgery, I'm not going to be able to do it. I think it's really good to make goals for post-hyst, even if it's as simple as getting back into jeans with a zipper on them!

I have always wanted to learn yoga from someone who knew what they were doing. I think this may be one of your best forms of physical recovery as you start feeling stronger. I think it's great that you're feeling excited about doing these things - it's not nuts at all!

What are friend for!!!??????

Jaclyn,
Hello from Mayberry...lol..
I have to say when I read the first post I wanted to just cry. Making the decision to have this surgery is hard enough and I really didn't need to hear that horrible story. I thought about it all night last night and most of the morning today. I have come to the conclusion that yes some people have some major problems however I am going to get my mind set to think of the positive side of things and not start thinking of myself as a victom already. I had bladder problems for so long and finally had a sling procedire done last Feb. It has worked wonders for me so I know I won't have to worry about that falling out. lol but am going to have the dr check it anyway while she is in there. Other than that my faith, and my life and the outcome of it all is in God's hands period. I am sick and tired of hurting and aunt flo can go take a hike off a high cliff. My husband is a wonderful loving supportive man (who I think must have female in him somewhere). He is taking me today to Chapel Hill TN for a national tractor pull event. That was our first date 5 years ago and this was a suprise for me. He told me he knew I would not be able to do some things for a while after this surgery so he wanted to take me to this as sort of a last big outing event. How wonderful he is! So again...I now am choosing as of today to look at the positive and just be thankful for what I have. Thank all you wonderful women. I cant say that enough. You are helping me and so many others more than you know.
Liz
