99.4 temp even on Lortab (which has tylenol in it)

tonight i am running a fever...... a small one.....

also i feel like my stitches are pulling apart or something..terrible pain.....

i had already been dealing with smelly discharge and now this.....

i plan to call my doctor in the morning... do you think that is best or should i go to the ER?

its not like i am bleeding or something.....

Does your doctor's office have an answering service? Maybe one of their doctors is on call to give you a recommendation. Good luck to you.

I would go to the ER! You have been having all those problems with discharge and smell it sure sounds like an infection and if your pain levels are up that is a great indication of this..... Let us know how you make out...

well guys... i did have two more of my antibiotics before i saw the doc this morning.. and my fever had gone away... i was still in a lot of pain made worse by sitting so long at the doctor's office....... she examined me and said that my stitches looked great...that my discharge had dried up ..no more "goop"....that i actually looked better stitch wise and vagina wise than most people do at this stage, etc....

so i asked why the pain...and she really wasn't certain.... she guessed maybe i sat up too much yesterday.......

she told me on Monday i should start getting out and having fun..but man i am sooooooooooo tired all the time and can't sit or walk for too terribly long.......

so i am going to try going out with a friend this coming Monday or Tuesday......

anyway i guess i am just a big whuss...... she said i worry too much....

anyway...so i am fine..thanks for the responses...

You will feel so much better once you get out with your friend :-)

Just make sure that you have plenty of rest stops (coffee & cake, lunch etc) and try not to be out for more than about 3 hours the first time as you will be more tired than ever.

I was out wandering around the shops with my sister quite a lot by 2 weeks post op, we just took it slow. I was very protective of my tummy and didn't like being in crowds though.

I am glad that your appt went well, again its better to be safe then sorry. Have fun out with friends and like Katy said be sure to stop and rest often while still enjoying the company and outing. . Take care of yourself and have a blast!!!!!
