Granulation Tissue 8 Months Post Hysterectomy

I had Hysterectomy October of last year it's been 8 months. I had lots of pain my first 6 weeks. At my 6 week check I had Granular tissue they removed with the q tip stuff.. Was good for awhile I noticed after time went by I was in more and more pain.. Being intimate with my husband was more and more unbearable. Went to the Dr today Cuz I just couldn't handle it anymore, there was no more grin and bear it for him left in me I have been miserable.. Well she does the exam and say "Oh my Goodness!" That's like the worst Granulation she's ever seen.. It's just been growing like wildfire and she said it was like flowering out.. So she did the nitrate q tip thing... And I swear on the green of the grass I feel like I've given birth today aND Ive had 3 children I know it feel.. My vagina hasn't stopped Throbbing since and it's been 4 hours! I've taken ibuprofen and Vicodin.. I don't know how much more I can take...

I'm so sorry you've had this and are hurting. My doctor mentioned this as a possibility to me at my two week appointment because I have been spotting since a week after my surgery 3.5 weeks ago. I didn't know what it meant but he said that sometimes it had to be treated repeatedly once a week for a few weeks. What did your doctor say about the prognosis? Have you been bleeding previously along with the pain?

Granulation Tissue 8 Months Post Hysterectomy

I only spotted one time about a month ago after sex.. Other then that no bleeding just severe pain like somebody was stabbing me with a hot knife... I am going back in 2 weeks to check for more and will have to go every 2 weeks till its gone... If it don't go away I have to have a surgery of some kind... It's so weird.. And painful

((Atreyu)) We are so glad that you have joined us. I am so sorry that you are having to deal with so much pain after having your grannulation tissue treated. I will be praying that the meds will kick in and keep the pain under control. Have you tried using a heating pad? When you try to sleep it may help if you put a pillow between your knees to help alleviate any pressure or pulling on the pelvic floor muscles.

for you dear. Remember that we are here for you.

Honey, you are welcome . . . I hope it helps. You may want to forgo the bath for a little bit and allow your treated areas to heal. Hot water may cause it to be more painful while it is still so sensative.
