I kinda wished I hadn't. Once less thing to stuff into that plastic bag they give you to put all your personal items in.

Re: What to wear TO hospital?

I'm wearing yoga pants and a very loose fitting shirt, crocs and warm socks. Not pretty, but very comfy! I'm wearing the same thing back home!

Bra-no way. I did not wear one for 3 weeks. I have a bunch of camisoles with built in bra that I lived in....and wore to hospital. I just am more comfortable if the girls have a little support.

Re: What to wear TO hospital?

I wore loose fitting jogging pants a teeshirt and a velour comfy zipped up top. I bought them all new in nice colours, co-ordinated, and they did make me feel nice. As I only had the clothes on for about an hour on the morning of surgery, I wore the same clothes home a few days later. I would suggest some type of slip on shoes too.

I also got my hair done the day before surgery!!! - yes you do feel a little better when you know your hair is ok and it is akward to do your own hair for a few days after surgery so having it done in the hairdressers lasts that bit longer. Anything that might make life a little more pleasant at this time is worth it.

Best wishes.
