Indigestion?
Hi Ladies,
Just wondering if anyone else has suffered indigestion/heartburn since surgery? I sure have! I'm almost 2weeks post op. I'm not eating anything spicy or rich, in fact I'[m probably eating healthier than before my surgery. But it seems like every 2-3 days I get horrible indigestion/heartburn. It hurts so bad that I can't get comfortable. Is this normal?

Indigestion?
Happy Easter,
I didn't have those symtpoms so maybe a quick call to the doctor so he can recommend something OTC. I bet it's just your body adjusting. Continue eating good and drink lots of water.
Hoping you find relief!

Indigestion?
Danger 66, I had terrible, burning indigestion after my TAH/BSO. I started taking Tums after my meals. And I drank ice tea with mint. I think that if you incease your liquids (except for acidics, like orange or grapefruit juice, you'll start to get better. I haven't had it nearly as bad in the last week. I understand your problem. I entered a thread on this same subject after I got indigestion off of a piece of wheat toast.
It's aggravating, I know, but it will go away.
Take care,
Janet
