I had my 4 week dr appt yesterday.

I seem to be healing well.

I told my Dr appt my continous discharge, from spotting to light period and how the color changes from brown to dark red to bright red. She looked at my vaginal cuff and said it's healing great! So, my discharge is normal....and I'll probably be one of the lucky ones that get 6 weeks of discharge. Woohoo!!! Lol.

My Patho report was in, and adenomyosis was confirmed. Along with all the adhesions I had.

I go back to work the Monday after Thanksgiving, and on light duty for the rest of the year.

My mid line vertical incision looks great.

That's it for my update for the time being.

Re: I had my 4 week dr appt yesterday.

Glad you are healing well.

My discharge stopped after 3 weeks. hopefully yours will stop soon.

As for my vertical incision, meh, I hate it. It doesn't really look that bad. Its a scar and I've never had surgery before, so I have no surgical scars except this one. Mine is as wide as my pinkie finger and still bright pink. blah !

I knew it would show and be very dark. I've ALWAYS scarred easily on the smallest little cuts or scratches. I've started using vitamin E and jojoba oil but the vitamin E seems to cause irritation and itching. I have VERY sensitive skin. *sigh*

Re: I had my 4 week dr appt yesterday.

I had a sigmoid ectomy last year. I ended up with a surgical infection that had to be healed with wet to dry dressings. That ended up healing pretty nasty.

What my gyn Dr dis, was used that scar to make her new incision, and she cut out the part that was my surgical infection. So that part of the nasty scar is GONE!!!

I still have that long mid line scar....I'm just glad it only looks like a scar, versus having two belly buttons. Haha!!!
