Finally, a lady in waiting!!
Good afternoon, ladies! Just a note to say that I am finally a lady in waiting!! Yeah!! My surgery is scheduled for 1-26. I, like many of you, had travelled a long, bumpy road to get here and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I will be anxiously waiting the day that I won't wake up with daily pain. Prayers to all ladies in waiting, ladies post-op and those ladies who have decisions to make.
Be well.

Finally, a lady in waiting!!
Congratulations! I found waiting to get approval and a date to be the most stressful part of the whole thing. Now get to work on your to-do list, so you won't need to rush around getting stuff done in the last few days. The 26th will be here before you know it.

Finally, a lady in waiting!!
Yes, so true!! Planning all now, including training of the temp who will replace me at work while I'm away. I will be having a total abdominal hyst. with probably both ovaries removed as they are attached to the uterus. Do you have any idea how long I will be in the hospital for? Was going to ask dr next week but thought I'd get an idea. Thanks for the input!

TAH Hospital Stay
Flightangel
Hospital stay all depends on your doctor, your insurance and your health before and after surgery. I had TAH/BSO and only stayed 2 days. Get yourself as fit as you can before you go in and it will be that much easier on you. The waiting for the date is the worst part, everything after that is all downhill!
