4 week post check-up

I
had hysterectomy the 22nd of june. vag. Uterus and overian C. Removed.
Went for my check up today.
After my surgery less thean 2 weeks after I was home I was up doing housework, being a mommy to 2 kids and a . and being the wife in every since of the word.
everything the doctor told me not to do.

So i was afraid when i went back today. I knew he was going to chew me out or tell me something was wrong.
He did the exam, did some sort of swab and told me its to make my stiches disolve faster.
I told him all the things I did. He said it was ok that I was fine and in good health. He said I can go back to work and do whatever i want to now.
I am a fast healer. like most people though , I am a baby when it comes to pain. but I stopped my pain meds 3 days after I came home from my surgery and They think that has alot to do with me healing up so fast.
I have no pain at all, no swelly belly, and im getting less tired each day. I hope the rest of you that are healing are doing well and I wish u all good luck with everything. all of you are wonderful and have helped me so much.

Glad to hear a story of one doing well!! Do what you feel comfortable doing - and if in doubt - DON'T... listen to that little voice of warning and heed it!!

I would still give yourself another couple of weeks to heal - better to take 2 weeks now than have to have surgery years down the line...
