new here

Hello everyone! I am so glad I found this sight while trying to find answers to my situation..."vaginal dryness along with burning during intimacy" I am 2 yrs & 9 months past a complete hysterectomy/vaginal. Off work for 6 weeks back to standing on my feet 8 to 10 hrs a day, which led to 2nd surgery 1 month later to have my bladder out in a sling. Just now feeling like I'm starting to get back to somewhat of my old self. Want to say thank you for the information I have found, thought I was alone but found out I'm amoung friends!

Re: new here

Welcome! I was logging on to explore vaginal dryness. Is there a remedy? What did you find? I heard there is a prescription you can get. Is that true? I am almost six weeks post op and have always had dryness.... I was hoping that I would find a remedy!

(((renatasueking)))
Welcome to Hystersisters! We're glad to have you join us. I hope your recovery from your latest surgery is going well. I'm also glad to hear you found some information that was helpful with the vaginal dryness issue.

In case you didn't see this article and for the benefit of (((veronalady))) I'll share a link here for an article that discusses vaginal dryness at some length. Yes, there are things that can be done to help.

I wish you both well with your healing.
