Post-Op visit

Well!! I thought that I needed to share some good news. I went for my 2 week post-op doctor's visit yesturday and she said that all is healing according to plan. She checked my Vaginal cuff and told me that the stiches usually take 12-14 weeks to disslove. My incisions were all doing well. We talked about HRT since I have nothing left..But she wants to increase my current medication to see how that works first. I also questioned the "discharge" that
I am having and she said that is normal as well. She is going to keep me off for a couple of more weeks...Hopefully I will be able to return to work the week of December 17th that would be 5 weeks...

I will keep everyone posted on my progress. I am very thankful for this website being able to talk to others that have or is going through what you are.

Thanks God for my beautiful husband...but somtimes men do not understand.

Until next time

Re: Post-Op visit

Hello! I had DaVinci complete on 11/19 and going for my appointment tomorrow. I am a little nervous about the appointment. May I ask, did she do an internal? Did it hurt? Were your bandages removed? Mine are miraculously still in place LOL! I have no pain but the thought of an internal is a little unnerving! Thank you for your input!

Yes she did do an internal exam..she checked the vaginal cuff..it didn't hurt but felt really strange "empty". My bandages were actually taken off in the hospital and I still have dermabond left on over my incisions...Hope this helps....Good luck at ur appointment
