Napping after hysterectomy!
I have never slept so much in my life! I take a nap, wake up, walk a abut and then I am back to sleep. Is this normal? :

Yes, we heal the most when we are sleeping.

Re: Napping!
Two days after your surgery? Yes, it's entirely normal! I napped in the afternoon regularly the first week after surgery, occasionally the second week. I also turned in for bed apx 7 PM. Even four weeks after surgery, I was still turning in at 8-9 PM.

Re: Napping!
Slightly reformed insomniac here thanks to TAH on 5/15/17. Sleep for me in the last three years has been TERRIBLE, my symptoms related to the surgery were indeed the culprit, you can't sleep when you have a 1.5 pound uterus crowding your bladder, because four times a night you have to pee, even worse when it's that time, and you are soaking through 3 LARGE pads a night, from day one home I was sleeping between 12 and 15 hours at a go, I kept track of it on a calendar my aunt brought me while I was in the hospital. I continued to sleep between 9 and 15 hours up until mid week three recovery, it is nice to be able to lay down and just feel your body relax into that deep nourishing sleep you haven't had in forever. While awake I sipped a lot of water, ate soups and veggies to get the plumbing moving, I am now at 8 to 10 hours a night, my app on my phone is even praising my rest! " Good Job you went to bed on time and got up on time! " LOL. I sincerely hope this sleeping continues, I do enjoy it so!
Enjoy your rest!
Joan
