Have a lot to do at work and really not feeling it ...

So I am visiting the castle on Monday - like, really, it's time already - and this is my last day in the office. I have not completed some things that I really should have, & even knowing this, I am not motivated to complete anything. I had to go to the bank this morning & the court because I figured I would tie up some personal matters before I'm laid up. Nope, nothing worked as I envisioned it.

I'm just waiting for the hospital to call with my time for Monday and instructions. Not really focused on anything. Getting teary for the littlest things.

My sister called and said she will take me to the hospital, so that's good.

That's all.

I understand completely. Today is my last day at work. (Castle Wedesday) I've already cried twice today. I guess it's normal? Good luck to you!

Re: Have a lot to do at work and really not feeling it ...

I get you on the no motivation to complete things. I have a list a mile long of stuff to do before Thursday and I can't put two thoughts together. I woke up at 4 am and wasn't able to fall back to sleep. I too have cried twice today. I am so ready for this to be over. I am a little worried, I am having TAH and I saw my GP yesterday and he said to plan on being in the hospital 3-5 days not 2 that I am planning on. At that, I'll be in over Christmas. Which made me cry all yesterday. Sorry for taking over your post. I hope you have a very relaxing weekend and an uneventful surgery on Monday.

Don't worry about it, it will all still be there when you are ready to tackle it, it is amazing how these worries get bigger and bigger. I just stop sometimes and get everything back into perspective and breath.
I am just getting back to all thoses things I left (1st Nov) and they all survived without me-and I was sure they would not!

Breath, enjoy the moment and enjoy your recovery
Good luck ladies
