Bladder Suspension? Who Will Do it?

I am scheduled for a bladder test tomorrow with a urologist, who will be doing the bladder suspension. The OB/GYN will be removing the uterus. I have so many questions. I have read a lot of great info on hysterectomies on this site. Have any of you all had a bladder suspension at the same time?

Hi! I didn't have bladder work done with my surgery, but I'm hoping someone will come along who has had this procedure and can give you some insight.

In the meantime, if you have your surgery date, you can change your profile to add the date. That way you are sure to get best wishes from your (((sisters))) and we'll know at a glance where you are in your journey.

We're glad you're here!

I am scheduled for the same surgery, along with my hyst, on June the 6th. A urologist was doing that part. Now there are complications with insurance matters, and I am not sure what is up....... I'm stressing too.

Hugs and good luck, I hope all goes well!

I may end up having the gyn lift and tuck what he can, and having the urologist do more in the future. Back in the day, all the gyns did this surgery and nowadays the urologists do it in combination surgery.

Good luck to you!
