Question about after hyst

Hi I had a tvh with a&P repairs last week Feb 28 I am off pain meds except for motrin. You will be sore for a little while {my experience}
and the pee issues because of swelling of tissues, but You recovery will be way faster. I also had 5 vaginal births. The nurses told me to us dermoplast spray on the stiches after birth. I also use preperation h wipes to clean myself with after the peri bottle for swelling this is only witch hazel on a baby wipe so it cant hurt You. I had a LAVH with anterior repair so I had stitches in the vagina from that also. I had no pain from any of it. My doctor put me on Premarin cream for the first 6 weeks to help with the vagina healing. The majority of the pain with my LAVH was the soreness in my abdomen from the 4 little incisions. Good luck.

I've read on here that yes you can still have mood swings, sore boobs, cramps(if you keep ovaries), food craving! However my onc gyno told me yes to all those but she said something to the effect of since your uterus and crvix are gone and do to some hormone change it wont be as before just minimal!?!?! I don't no? I hopeit all goes away because I am raging monster when I PMS!! LOL!! I too was wondering about if there is pain down there after a TVH? Funny but I had a cone biopsy thru outpaitent surgery on Feb14th and was a little sore but not bad! Compared to the Leep/LOOP & biopsy procedure done in JAN. Wich BTW was done right in my reg gyno's office and all she did was numb my cervix........ouch to that and.....MAN was I sore for ever all I wanted to do was lay down w/ a bag of ice in my crotch!! LOL!!! So who knows.
