Real Pain at 8 weeks... Boy I feel like crap!!
Hello Ladies... I have some concerns. I am about 8 weeks post-op and have had my share of problems. I was in and out of the hospital 3 weeks the first month. I was keeping a positive outlook on this whole thing. I have yet to feel "good". My doc said at my 6 week check up it was normal for all I went through. I have had real pain in my vagina and what I would call my groin area. I feel pressure almost like being 8-9 months pregnant and the feeling of weight being pushed down on the top part of your vagina. I do have a vaginal cuff and he said it wasn't healed enough to resume activities. He sees me next week but I really feel like crap!! I have been spotting and leaking bloody fluid. I have no energy and really can't get back to where I would like to be! I am not sure what is up and wanted to know if anyone feels this way?? I do not know if I have lifted more and done too much...I didn't think I was because I know it is important not too! Alot of people feel so good and I love hearing their stories but I wonder what's up with me!! It is so frustrating because I do have people around me who Think I should have been skydiving at 4 weeks!!grr: Thanks for listening!! lol:

At 8 weeks, you shouldn't be having any discharge at all. I would definately contact your doctor and find out what is going on. Maybe you have an infection around your cuff or your cuff is not closed properly and the doctor need to use silver nitrate to close it. I had it done twice. It's not too bad.
I also have the feeling that I'm 8-9 months pregnant, so I know what you are talking about. My problem is not related to my TAH. I have pelvic congestion syndrome which is enlarge veins in your pelvic area which puts pressure on your bladder and makes you feel pregnant.
Let us know how things turn out.

Sorry to hear that you are feeling so crappy, that just *****! I guess everyone heals at their own rate, but sounds like you have had your share of problems! If the Dr isn't concerned, then hang in there, it has got to look up for you soon! Sending some well wishes your way...... Tiffany

I still have a discharge at 7wks. and i also have the pain in my vagina and bladder spasms. I've asked my Dr about it and he say's it's normal. He even released me at my 6 wk checkup. Well i'm really starting to get sick of it all. I have to go back to work Sat. standing all day. The pain is worse when i stand, feels like everything left inside is going to fall out. I would call the Dr but i just know he's going to say it's normal. I think at this point if i grew a tail he'd say it was normal too. I just hope all this pressure down below gets better. I had a TAH/LSO so i can't understand all the pain in the groin area.
