LAVH Muscle spasms and cramping 9 days post hysterectomy

I've also been experiencing spasms. Most of the time they don't hurt. But the ones in my vagina and where my left ovary used to be, definitely do... I haven't had rental spasms but have had a nightmare this week with constipation- (like I was sitting on a boulder)got cleared for an enema 😑

Update: I was admitted to the hospital last night after a CT scan revealed an abscess about 10 cm in size in my Pouch of Douglas pushing on my rectum. Started antibiotics last night and a drain will be placed in the next few hours. My doctor told me to plan on being here at least until Friday. Frustrating but at least we've finally figured out what is going on here. I just found it hard to believe that nonstop rectal spasms were a normal part of healing.

Drain is in place and that was probably the worst pain I've ever experienced in my life. I was awake with just something in my IV to make me drowsy and a small dose of local which did absolutely nothing. I screamed and cried and basically had to be held to the table.
