Back from the hospital

I feel GREAT.The day of surgery went by so fast.I had 2 wonderful nurses check on me every 4 hour with pain meds.I started walking the day of surgery. The food was terrible but I had to lie to my aunt and cousin who work in the kitchen and tell them how good some of the food was.On wed the cath came out and off to the bathroom I went. Then there was more walking.Less pain med.I just asked for somthing at night so I could sleep.Thursday they sent me home around 10am.My DH hit every bump on the way home,For all the liw, waiting is the hardest part.you feel great afterwards.I was able to keep my ovarys.I'm starting to tired a little so back to my couch I lay talk to everyone later.

Congratulations!

And every day, in every way, you will be getting better and better! I'm 12 days post-op now for a TAH/BSO and feel great. Just had my first MacDonalds quarter pounder.....first junk food in 2 weeks...tasted really good

Rest is the order of the days.

Hugs from Texas,

Michele

Welcome Home Stephanie!

So happy to hear that you are home and everything was fine! Great news about the ovaries, too.

Now be a good princess and REST REST REST! Remember to drink lots of water and juice, and you'll be just fine.

Your crown looks beautiful!

Hi Stephanie!

Yes, the waiting IS REALLY the hardest part.
After that every day is a little better than the first.
My surgery was April 10th and I'm feeling better everyday!
Glad to hear you're doing ok!

Congratulations and welcome home! Two rules: (1) No carbonated beverages and (2) Take charge of the remote control!
Hugs,
Miranda
