Hmmmmm........
I wouldn't make a decision on this right now. I know your surgery is scheduled, but perhaps you can post pone it? You might try to find someone who can act as your advocate. A friend, neighbor, or significant other to stand in, gather the facts, and help you make this decision. You have two doctors here who won't say which is the greater of two evils. If they can't say, who are you to make the choice while uninformed? What I'm saying is: get informed, then make the decision. Take the time limit off by post poning the surgery. Make them tell you what the risks are by NOT taking the lupron and what the risks are when you DO take the lupron. Write them down on a pro/con list. Then, make your doctors decide. If they can't decide. Find a new doctor. JMHO.
