My last period ever!

I just got over my LAST period EVER!!! That thought alone sustains me as I head for my TAH/BSO on Tuesday the 15th. WOOOOHOOOO!!! I am nervous even though I am very at peace with my decision to have this done and like so many of you all I hear from women who have done this is that I will feel so good. When the hospital admitting called for info. and asked for the approximate date of my last period I told her i know EXACTLY when it was, as this was a momentous day!! And today I finished up my last day of work for the next approx. two months. I am so relieved to have this almost over. Sunday night I experienced horrendous fibroid pain and lost hours of sleep, so you KNOW I am ready. Thanks to this site and all of you supportive HysterSisters!!! God Bless!

I was thrilled to have my last period three weeks before my surgery. I was bragging to everyone and rubbing it in saying it was my last period. Then exactly 2 weeks later I got another one. That will teach me to open my cake hole. LOL

I too just finished my last period and was so very relieved. No maybe the other bleeding will stay away until my surgery date.

Mine was Christmas eve if I am lucky it will not rear its ugly head before or on the 18th

congrats! I had my last period the week before my hyster and its been soooo nice not having to even think about anymore! Just think this time next week you will be recovering!!!!
