Re: Surgery in the morning

Best wishes Becky.
Keep busy today. Finalise those things that you know would worry you post surgery, when you can't do them. Pack your bag - remember you wont want much. In other threads the hyster ladies have given their ideas. I used toothbrush, moisturiser, PJs, phone, soft high waisted undies and ultra thin pads. I took a book and didn't read it. Watched TV on and off. Took a pop top water bottle. I didn't have a pillow, but love my pillow now - at hospital I used a folded towel on my tummy. It really helps!

Surgery - be brave becky. You can do it. Relax, trust, sleep. Then the new you!

Re: Surgery in the morning

Thank you for the words of encouragement. I really need them tonite, have been ok up until today and losing it. I am very nervous to say the least. But my hubby is very supportive of me. I know I will feel much better after it is all over. I think I have everything I need packed. And I do have my little pillow. So I guess I am as ready as it gets. Brave and Breathing.

I know Kelly, it is a very nerve wracking day and night. But I am sure we can catch up on our sleep tomorrow. LOL! Hang in there, we will be on the healing side soon! Good Luck!
