random crying spells

Hello, I had a radical hysterectomy 16 days ago, i have been having crazy hotflashes but worse than that i cry all the time for no reason!. Originally surgery was for ovarian cancer the ca125 435 on first test whick then jumped to 600 2 weeks later. But opon opening me up i was caked with endometriosis and the ovarian tumors had been stuck to my bowels and spine. Still awaiting final patho but these crazy cry spells are they normal?

Hello, I am so sorry you are having to go through all of this. Not necessarily reassuring, but the crying seems to be part of this overall process. If you had a radical, that means your ovaries are gone and that may mean mood swings and very intense emotional feelings for a while. Not to mention the stress of waiting to get that path report and finding out what is happening. That alone would drive a person to tears. Any idea when you'll get that information? For me, knowing the facts is calming. Be kind to yourself and your open, raw nerves, and don't hesitate to continue to reach out for support here. These ladies are wonderful and kind and full of good advice and experiences.
